Professional Development

CED is committed to promoting excellence in the field of economic development in Alaska. We provide training opportunities for our economic development colleagues, including classes offered through the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). We are active members of the University Economic Development Association and engage with practitioners across the country.

Economic developer professional development

IEDC courses are the leading source of economic development education for professionals. Covering key topics and specialized issues, courses are designed to be interactive and provide an international perspective with a focus on real-world experiences, best practices, and tools you can use in your community. The carefully selected instructors include some of today's top experts in their fields and represent both the private and public sectors.
